With more than 2,200 exhibitors from 50 countries and 70,000+ attendees from 127, the Frankfurt Achema 2022 trade show highlighted the cutting edge of innovative processes for chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries. We were proud to be one of these exhibitors and show off our technologies as well as our latest developments.
At this event we showcased our AI and Machine Learning driven manufacturing solutions; Eyecon2 particle size analyser and our SmartX Advanced Process Automation. We also introduced our new Digital Maturity and Sustainability Assessment (DMSA) which helps companies get ready for Industry 5.0. The event was a success with enthusiastic
engagement from all attendees and exhibitors.
From our own attendees, one opinion that kept appearing was that there was great content at the show but so big there was not enough time to see everything. The inventiveness of the stands themselves were impressive and it is a show that could be attended for fun and industry updates as much as specific business requirements. One highlight was an optical probe pointed into a chocolate fountain!
Another insight was that footfall was noticeably small than previous years, but this also had the welcome effect of increasing the average level of interest, engagement and expertise of the attendees themselves. Another thought from delegates at our booth was the variety of nationalities of the attendees and according to post show statistics every second attendee came from outside the host country.
It seems that there was great display of IIOT as something that a lot of companies are focusing on and stood out to us as an area that will affect future equipment development.
The next Achema event will take place in Frankfurt in June 2024, we hope to see you there.
